Remi Sonaiya, presidential candidate of KOWA Party in 2015, on Tuesday, called for an investigation into the roles played by different bodies, including the military, in the 2019 elections.
Sonaiya made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos while reacting to the March 9 Governorship and State Assembly polls.
According to her, people should be held accountable for their actions during the entire election.
She told NAN: “All I am able to think of now is we must conduct a thorough investigation of the entire election.
“What role has been played by different bodies, especially the military and individuals to bring about voter apathy and all the violence recorded.
“People should be held accountable for thwarting our efforts at building democracy.”
