Oyo state governor-elect, Seyi Makinde, on Thursday visited Governor Abiola Ajimobi of the state.
Makinde shared photos of the visit on his Twitter account.
However, details of the meeting were unclear as at press time.
Makinde, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), emerged winner after he polled 515,621 votes to defeat Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 357,982 votes.
Meanwhile, gubernatorial candidate of the National Interest Party (NIP), Mrs Bolanle Ashabi Sarumi-Aliyu has urged Makinde to fulfil his promises made to the people.
Sarumi-Aliyu, in a statement, said, “On behalf of Oyo State NIP members, we congratulate you being the winner of the just concluded general elections in Oyo State.
“I pray that by Almighty God’s special grace your tenure will be a successful one.
“I use this opportunity to urge you to keep your campaign promises made to the people of Oyo State.
“Our people deserve good governance and I believe with God’s help you can deliver this.”
