Just after some few hours of locking traders at the Lagos International Trade Fair, out of their stalls, they have finally been allowed entry to resume business activities at the fair
According to some traders who were seen protesting at the premises, there was no tangible reason given to them by the government on why they were shut out.
Earlier in the day, some of the traders were spotted carrying placards in protest to the unlawful lock down.
Traders who were unaware of the development arrived their shops at the Trade Fair in the early morning of Monday, 18th of March, 2019 for their normal businesses only to discover to their surprise that all the gates leading to the Fair had been shut.
Meanwhile, while some of the traders said the premises had just been opened while no explanation was given as to the reason for the initial closure, others claimed the premises was shut because a particular major political party was holding its rally in the premises.
