A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Buba Galadima, has berated former President, Goodluck Jonathan for not dragging President Muhammadu Buhari to court over the outcome of the 2015 presidential election.
Galadima said Jonathan shot himself in the leg by not taking Buhari to court.
He stated this while featuring on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily.
According to Galadima: “He could have successfully triumphed because of what had happened eventually from the rulings of the Supreme Court on Rivers and Akwa Ibom.
“With the benefit of insight, I think Jonathan shot himself on the foot.”
Despite being an incumbent President in 2015, Jonathan had refused to drag Buhari to court.
Rather than drag his successor to court, Jonathan called Buhari to concede defeat.
