The Oyo State House of Assembly has sworn-in a new Clerk for the Assembly.
The news Clerk is Mrs. Felecia Oyediran.
She took over from Barrister Paul Bankole who retired after attaining the age of 60.
Oyediran until her appointment was the Deputy Clerk in the Assembly.
The new Clerk, who hailed from Ogbomoso, has spent 27 years in legislative services.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Hon. Olagunju Joshua Ojo, who performed the swearing in ceremony on Thursday during the plenary of the house, said that the decision was in accordance with the constitutional provision of Oyo State House of Assembly Commission (Amendment Law) 2018 after getting the two-thirds of the Assembly members.
