Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to results of the Kano governorship election.
DAILY POST reported on Sunday that Umar Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was declared winner of the Kano State governorship election.
Ganduje polled a total of 1,033,695 as against his closest rival, Abba Yusuf of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 1,024,713.
Reacting, Omokri took to his official Twitter page on Monday to criticise Kano people for re-electing Ganduje.
He wrote: “When I read law in UK, my university’s case study for FSA fraud was Gen. Abacha, who looted at least $5 billion. Yet, Kano named a stadium after that bloodthirsty buffoon.
“Now, @GovUmarGanduje, a man caught on Camera looting Kano, is re-elected. What does that say about Nigeria?”
