The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan, the alleged killer of football fan, Johnson Kolade.
He was arraigned before a Chief Magistrate Court in Ebute-Metta, Lagos.
His arraignment followed his dismissal barely 24 hours ago.
DAILY POST reported that Johnson was shot dead on Sunday by a police officer while he was watching a football match in Mangoro area of the state.
The police found Olalekan guilty of discreditable conduct by “shooting and killing Kolade Johnson,” among other offences and awarded him the punishment of dismissal from service and prosecution.
Olalekan was consequently handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department, Panti for prosecution in court.
