Ben Murray-Bruce, the Senator representing Bayelsa East, has reacted to the killing of Miss Faye Mooney, a Briton, in the recent attack on Kajuru, Kaduna State.
DAILY POST had reported that the Police Command in Kaduna State identified the expatriate killed by suspected kidnappers in Kajuru as Miss Faye Mooney, a Briton.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo said Mooney was among the two people killed and three kidnapped on April 19 at a recreational resort in Kajuru Local Government Area of the State.
While reacting in a tweet on Monday, Ben Bruce condemned the attack and commiserated with the United Kingdom and Mercy Corps over the death of the aid worker.
He wrote: “I condole with my friend Catriona Laing, High Commissioner of @UKinNigeria, over the death of Faye Mooney and her Nigerian compatriot, Matthew Oguche.
“Britain is a friend of Nigeria and we must treat our friends well. I call on the FG and state govt to bring her killers to book.”
