The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo said Mooney was among the two people killed and three kidnapped on April 19 at a recreational resort in Kajuru Local Government Area of the State.
But reacting, Saraki, in a tweet on Monday, condemned the attack and commiserated with the United Kingdom and Mercy Corps over the death of the aid worker.
He tweeted, “My heartfelt prayers go out to the all the families affected by Friday’s attack on the Kajuru Castle resort in Kaduna.
“My deep condolences to the government of the United Kingdom and Mercy Corps, over the death of the British Aid worker, Faye Mooney, who was killed in the attack.
