Former lawmaker, and a leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Akwa Ibom State, Senator John Udoedehe, has declared that he is now a pastor.
He made the declaration on Facebook.
“I have finally accepted God’s calling to preach salvation of souls through Christ Jesus, and to witness to the power of the Resurrection…alongside my political and business career, as a role model to this generation,” he said.
The post was accompanied by photos of the former Minister preaching to congregants and administering Holy Communion.
Udoedehe has contested for the APC governorship ticket in the state, at least twice.
Udoedehe, a former member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was the campaign director for the election of Godswill Akpabio as governor in 2007.
Things went sour between him and Akpabio and he left the PDP for the then Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN.
He then emerged as the party’s governorship candidate and contested the 2011 election against Akpabio.
