Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, on Thursday assured civil servants in the state that none of them would be victimised for their role during the last general elections.
Fintiri, who gave this assurance in Yola while addressing Permanent Secretaries, led by the state Head of Service, Dr Amos Edgar, who paid him a solidarity visit, said his administration would be resolute and firm in ensuring that things worked in the state.
“In the days to come, we will role out our policies and tell you your role,” Fintiri said.
He promised to provide enabling working environment and the needed equipment for workers to discharge their duties.
Earlier, the Head of Service, Dr Amos Edgar, said they were at the Government House to congratulate the new governor, and to assure him of their loyalty.
