Bamikole Omishore, the media aide to former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has reacted to current Senate President, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, re-appointing Olu Onemola as his Special Assistant on New Media.
Onemola occupied the same office in the immediate past 8th Senate under the Saraki’s leadership.
Writing on his Twitter page, Omishore dismissed the criticisms that have trailed the decision and said it was a normal pattern in the National Assembly.
“Anyone that has worked in National Assembly will understand the importance of having a very diverse team.
“At every given time during @bukolasaraki’s tenure as SP, he had staff from APC, PDP and other parties,” he wrote.
Others appointed by Lawan included: Dr. Betty Okoroh (SA) Administration, Mohammed Isa (SA) Media and Publicity, Tope Brown Olowoyeye (Photographer) while Ogechukwu Nwankwoh was appointed as Senior Legislative Aide on Schedules and Events.
