The Jigawa State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has suspended Right-Path International School Dutse from operating indefinitely, for working against the state’s private schools regulations.
The Director, private Schools of the ministry, Hajia Uwani Jafaru disclosed this in a statement issued to DAILY POST in Dutse.
According to the statement, the suspension followed a misconduct and failure of the school authority to comply with the rules and regulations governing operation of private schools in the State.
She stated that the state ministry of education will continue to ensure that all private schools in the state are operating in line with the regulations of the state ministry of education.
“We will shut down any private school that failed to meet with the state educational requirements, ” Uwani said.
Uwani explained that state government was disturbed on how private schools in the state are operating.
She said most of private schools in the state are facing problems of unqualified teachers, lack of classes, unhygienic toilets and failure to pay their yearly registration fee.
