Yvonne Nelson, Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, has aimed a slew of digs at the authorities of her country, saying they are “still being colonized”.
The popular movie star took to her social media on Monday to vent her spleen over the state of things in Ghana.
African leaders have consistently come under intense criticism for not doing enough to optimize economic potentials available at their disposals and the 33-year-old actress joined the fray to take shots at the country’s leaders.
“Charley, i wake up every morning wondering why we are where we are! With all our resources! We are still being COLONIZED! Its like we can never do it on our own! BIG ENGLISH, FLY SUITS, LONG CONVOYS havnt done anything for us! NEO COLONIZATION,” she wrote in a series of tweets.

The talented movie star had recently called on upcoming actresses to shun the act of sleeping with movie directors and producers for movie role favour.
In August, the Ghanaian actress had confirmed her breakup with Jamie Roberts, her rugby player baby daddy, with whom she has a child.
