A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, on Thursday criticised the Minister of Works and Housing Tunde Fashola over his comment on Nigerian roads.
DAILY POST had reported that Fashola, who was a former Governor of Lagos State had insisted that Nigerians roads are not as bad as being portrayed.
He stated this while addressing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday.
“The roads are not as bad as they are often portrayed. I know that this is going to be your headline, but the roads are not that bad,” Fashola had said.
Reacting to the claims, Omokri questioned Fashola’s intelligence for making such insensitive comments.
In a tweet on his official Twitter page, Omokri wrote: “What happened to @TundeFashola? How could he say Nigerian roads are not that bad? Our roads are WORSE than they are portrayed.
“Has his intelligence reduced, or was he always an overrated creation of the media?
