A former Supreme Court judge, Justice Abubakar Bashir Wali, is dead.
Vanguard reports that a family source, who confirmed the death said the late jurist died at his residence in Kano.
He reportedly died after a protracted illness.
Justice Wali, who was a pioneer legal practitioner in the North, will be buried on Tuesday afternoon according to Islamic rites.
