The deadly Coronavirus was on Monday reported in Senegal, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Senegal and Tunisia.
The development means coronavirus is now in five African countries, including Algeria, Egypt and Nigeria.
For Senegal, the victim is a French national, who entered the country aboard an Air Senegal flight on February 29.
Meanwhile, Egypt, the first African country to record a case, has recorded its second patient.
The country’s Health Ministry in a statement on Monday, said the individual is a foreigner and did not specify their nationality.
The patient has been quarantined at a hospital in Negeila, north of the country.
Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), has spread to a total of 70 countries including China, where it emanated.
The disease, first recorded in Nigerian on February 27, has caused about 3,000 deaths worldwide.
