Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq, the National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG, has said that the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, will recover from the COVID-19 disease by God’s grace but will continue in his position as Chief of Staff.
According to Bamgbose, Buhari will drop Kyari and Nigeria may have a new Chief of Staff soon, adding that this is a lesson for every politician that no condition is permanent.
Speaking with DAILY POST in reaction to Abba Kyari’s health condition, the senior lawyer said Nigerians should also pray for Mohammed, the son of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who is also down with Covid-19
Recall that Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari tested positive for COVID-19.
“How are the mighty falling in the battle against COVID-19? This deadly virus obviously has no atom of respect for anyone,” the Lagos-based legal practitioner said.
“It’s really sad and very unfortunate that the Chief of Staff to the Executive President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Abba Kyari has fallen victim to the deadly virus.
“Atiku’s son was not spared. The virus has done a lot of damage to the entire universe within the short time of its existence. In Spain over 40,000 people are already infected.
“In Italy, deaths in hundreds are recorded on a daily basis. The world is certainly in a state of confusion. The good news, however, is that, the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, by God’s grace, will recover, but he may as well forget about continuing as Chief of Staff to the President.
“He will be dropped. Nigeria may have a new Chief of Staff soon. This is a lesson for every politician that no condition is permanent. Our politicians should fear God in all their doings.
“God’s quietness does not mean he can’t act. He is just being patient waiting for us to have a change of mind. Nigerians should pray for Atiku’s son to survive.
“He needs our prayer. It will be suicidal to hang our faith and fate on science at this crucial period. One thing is sure. Coronavirus will soon be history.
“There is no place in the Bible that the world will be wiped out by virus or any diseases whatsoever. Nigerians should be in prayer mood.”
