The World Health Organisation, WHO, Regional Office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo on Friday, announced that the coronavirus (COVID-19) death cases in Africa have increased to 41.
According to the WHO, there are 2,234 confirmed cases of coronavirus across 41 countries in Africa as of Friday, 27th of March.
The health agency said this in a tweet on its regional official twitter account @WHOAFRO.
“2,234 confirmed #COVID19 cases across 41 countries in the @WHO African Region and a total of 73 recoveries and 41 deaths,” WHO said.
“WHO is supporting countries with surveillance, diagnostics, and treatment.”
