assignment venues during the 14-day lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun States. .

In a statement on Monday, Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, said the clarification was necessary in view of inadequate time to properly accredit working journalists in affected states and the FCT.
He said members of the media are expected to continue to provide essential services during the lockdown.
This, Mohammad explained, would enable them continue to keep Nigerians well updated on the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the president has made some exemptions on the lockdown order.
On Monday, Buhari exempted financial services players from movement restrictions.
