British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested negative for COVID-19, after battling the disease.
The Sun UK reports that Boris had another coronavirus test before leaving hospital on Sunday, which came back negative on Monday.
The newspaper said Boris Johnson and his fiancée were spotted taking their pet pooch for a stroll after the PM was discharged from hospital on Sunday afternoon.
Recall that Boris Johnson spent a week in hospital including several days in intensive care after contracting the virus.
Speaking on Sunday he had said he owed his life to the medical staff who treated him.
On the advice of his medical team, the PM will not be immediately returning to work.
“He wishes to thank everybody at St Thomas’ for the brilliant care he has received.
