Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has reacted to demands for funds made to the President Muhammadu Buhari by Northern governors.
DAILY POST reported earlier that the Northern Governors Forum, NGF had sought the assistance of the government through a special fund to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the region.
The chairman of the forum and governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong had in a statement alleged that special funds were given to other states but nothing was given to Northern states.
Reacting, Sani urged Lalong and other northern governors to be bold about their demands without fear.
On his Twitter page, the Kaduna lawmaker wrote: “The Northern Governors should just have simplified their message without ‘fear fear, corner corner and zig zag’ by saying “Give us 10 Billion each like Lagos or we end the Lockdown”
“My good friend Lalong be courageous.”
