Lagos State recorded 70 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.
This was revealed by the daily report published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
According to the NCDC, a total of 86 new cases were confirmed across the country.
Lagos had the highest number with 70, while three were recorded in both Katsina and Akwa Ibom.
Jigawa and Borno states recorded cases for the first time too.
The 86 new cases recorded on Sunday, brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 627.
Lagos has a total of 373, while Abuja and Kano follow with 88 and 36 respectively.
