Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, has joined family, friends, and business associates of Chairman of Globe Motors Holdings (Nigeria) Limited, Willy Anumudu, to mourn his death.
Anumudu suffered some health challenges a few days ago and was tested for Coronavirus (COVID-19), but the result turned out negative.
He, however, died early on Wednesday as he was to be flown to Germany for further treatment.
In his condolence message on his official Twitter page, Obi described the late Anumudu as a diligent businessman whose contributions to commerce and exemplary entrepreneurial skills would be missed.
Obi tweeted: “The death of the Founder and Chairman of Globe Motors, Chief Willie Anumudu, is a huge loss to the business community, the South-East in particular and Nigeria in general.
“He was a focused and diligent businessman whose contributions to commerce and exemplary entrepreneurial skills would be missed.
“May his family be comforted, and may his soul rest in peace.”
