On the 21st of April, 2020, Ayodeji Alayande, CEO I•RASA Clothing (a fashion store that specializes in the production of ready-to-wear outfit from Ankara with bases in Ibadan and Lagos) blazed the trail in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with action by stepping up to donate relief materials to the citizens of Oyo State
The donation was made by Mr. Ayodeji Alayande, CEO, I.RASA Clothing, after having recently made a donation of medical kits to the Oyo State Government, he proceeded to make relief materials available to citizens across Oyo State with places like Oje, Isaale Alfa, Labiran, Beere, Olugbode, Oranyan, Itabaale and Ita-Akinloye being his ports of call.
This patriotic and progressive way of not just thinking but actually taking action is one that is worthy of emulation by every organization and individual as we are currently in rather tumultuous times due to the spread of the pandemic and it is not enough to simply stand aside and watch but in our own way we can all rise to meet the need of others.
This gesture is one done in accordance with his philanthropic nature and CSR Policy of I•RASA Clothing and efforts to assist the Government in combatting the spread of the ongoing Pandemic. The CEO, Mr Ayodeji Alayande also highlighted the need for the general public to assist the Government in this fight by following the Health and Safety guidelines established by the Medical Authorities.
