The Kano State government has announced that two coronavirus deaths have been recorded in the state.
The State’s Ministry of Health disclosed this in a tweet via its Twitter account on Sunday.
The Ministry also announced that 33 additional patients have been discharged following full recovery from the virus.
According to the Ministry, twelve new additional cases of the disease were also recorded in the state.
The tweet reads, “Update as at 11:38pm 6th June 2020.
“52 samples of COVID-19 were tested today in Kano.
“ 12 new cases of COVID-19 in Kano confirmed.
“33 additional COVID-19 Kano patients were discharged.
“Sadly, 2 COVID-19 Kano deaths was also recorded today.
“Residents are advised to stay safe and always mask up.”
