Nigeria on Thursday recorded its highest COVID-19 confirmed cases in a single day.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, announced 681 new cases and five new deaths on Thursday night.
The new figure brings Nigeria’s total to 14,554. Out of these, 4,494 have been discharged and 387 deaths have been recorded across the country.
Lagos, Abuja and Kano State have the highest number of cases in the country.
Lagos State has 6611, Abuja 1097, while Kano follows with 1048.
