U.S actor, Danny Masterson has been charged with raping three women in separate incidents in 2001 and 2003.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office in a statement on Wednesday night confirmed that it earlier declined to file sexual assault charges against Masterson in two other cases because of insufficient evidence and statute of limitations.

However, Tom Mesereau, Masterson’s attorney in a statement vowed to fight the charges, NAN reports.
“Mr Masterson is innocent, and we’re confident that he will be exonerated when all the evidence finally comes to light and witnesses have the opportunity to testify,” he said.
He added that those familiar with Mr Masterson know his character and know the allegations to be false.
If convicted, the three rape charges will carry a maximum prison sentence of 45 years to life in prison, the District Attorney’s office added.
