The Kaduna State government has confirmed seventeen (17) new COVID-19 cases in the State.
It explained that the 17 cases were part of the 83 samples tested for the virus.
In a tweet on Friday night, the state government disclosed that the cases were from Kaduna North and Chikun.
The tweet said: “COVID-19 Update: On Friday, 3 July 2020, 17 samples returned positive out of 83 analyzed. The new cases are from Kaduna North (12) and Chikun (5).”
Meanwhile, Nigeria recorded a total of 27,564 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Friday night.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, confirmed 454 new cases across the country.
