11 COVID-19 patients on Tuesday tested negative for the deadly virus in Ogun State, DAILY POST reports.
This is as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said three new cases were identified on the same day.
Confirming the report in a statement on Wednesday, Ogun State Government disclosed that Ogun has recorded 1050 cases of Coronavirus since February, out of which 21 have reportedly died.
As of Wednesday, DAILY POST gathered that there are 377 active COVID-19 cases in the state.
On its verified Facebook page, the government said: “Ogun State, as of 7th July 2020, had a total of 377 active cases, including 3 new confirmed cases.
“These newly recorded cases bring to 1050, the total number of confirmed cases in the State.
“Of the total 1050, 11 cases were discharged on the day, as the State had recorded a cumulative of 21 related deaths.”
