Super Eagle’s striker, Paul Onuachu has tested positive for coronavirus, according to various reports in the Belgian media.
A publication by Het Laatste Nieuws Reveal that the Racing Genk striker Was quarantined for a week after testing positive for COVID-19 following his return from Nigeria.
All Genk Players were tested on Tuesday ahead of their first pre-season friendly against Eendracht Termien, while all the players returned negative with the exception of Onuachu.
However, there is concern within the club as the Nigerian has been involved in contact training with the rest of his teammates for a week.
Onuachu who has training with Genk until mid-May Visited Nigeria While he took a chartered Flight back to Belgium late last month because the Nigerian airspace was closed to international flights.
In his maiden season in Belgium, the former FC Midtjylland star netted 10 goals in all competitions and featured in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
