The Kwara State government, on Monday, announced the discharge of 40 Covid-19 patients.
A 9pm update by the state Covid-19 technical committee in Ilorin, now put the total number of patients discharged at 244.
Total tests done is 3170, with 2197 returned as negative.
The total number of confirmed cases is put at 585, with 388 pending tests being awaited.
Death toll remains 14 since the outbreak of the virus in the State.
As part of the effort to mitigate the community spread of the virus, the state government has swung into action to enforce the safety protocols for public members.
It warned that residents who fail to wear face masks and observe physical distancing in public places such as markets, malls, and banks among others risk arrest and prosecution henceforth, from July 31, 2020.
The plan to strictly enforce the safety guidelines was sequel to the frightening rise in the number of confirmed cases between Saturday and Sunday.
