The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has warned against the second term bid of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ogun State.
Pastor Giwa warned that Akeredolu would treat people of the state like animals if re-elected as governor of the state.
Giwa, who made the remark in a statement, faulted Akeredolu on education.
In the statement he signed and sent to DAILY POST, Giwa described the exorbitant school fees placed on students at tertiary institutions as insane.
He also expressed disappointment that Akeredolu abandoned series of moribund industries in the state.
According to Giwa: “Nobody could believe that governor Akeredolu would treat the people of Ondo State like animals.
“If you treat people like animals, they will respond like animals
“I am not a pretender, and I want to believe that the people of Ondo State deserve the best. In a situation where a governor deliberately increased tuition fees from 25,000 to N150,000 or N180,000 is insane.
“If he had rigged himself in, I believe the electorate is there to do justice to whatever or whoever they must have imposed on them.
“I have said it that he can only get his way back through an indirect primary.
“We have more than 10 moribund industries in the state that are begging for attention. At least, if you want to really help the state to develop, the first is to revamp whatever you can to create employment for the people.
“I don’t have anything against the governor aside what I have enumerated Akeredolu. I believe if he fails to address the issues, another person is capable to bring smiles to people’s faces,” he stated.
