The Kaduna State government has confirmed 20 new cases of COVID-19 in the State.
It disclosed that the 20 new cases are located in Chikun, Jema’a, Kaduna South and Kaduna North.
In a tweet on its verified Twitter handle, the state government disclosed that 59 COVID-19 patients have also been discharged.
“Covid-19 Update, 21 July 2020: 59 patients have been discharged. 20 samples returned positive out of 108 tested. The new cases are from Chikun 11, Jema’a 7 and one each from Kaduna South and Kaduna North,” it tweeted.
Meanwhile, Nigeria recorded 576 new cases of COVID-19, according to statistics from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
This brings the current tally in the country to 37,801 confirmed cases.
