#RevolutionNow protesters in Ondo State on Wednesday took to the streets of Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area of the state to partake in the group’s ongoing protest across major cities in Nigeria.
The protesters who were largely youths were armed with placards of various inscriptions.
Some of the inscriptions read, “We demand an end to systematic corruption,” “We cannot continue to service the need of the greedy,” “Insecurity, killings everywhere,” “Where there is right, there is remedy,” among others.
According to the protesters, the protest was all about demanding a better society and improved welfare for citizens from the President, Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
Armed security personnel were stationed in strategic locations within the Ore axis as the protesters marchd across major streets, chanting various solidarity songs.
