A total of four hundred and fifty-seven, 457, new cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced the figure on Wednesday night in a tweet via its official Twitter handle.
NCDC said Lagos State recorded 137 cases, while FCT followed with 76 cases.
Nigeria now has a total of 44,890 confirmed cases and 927 deaths.
