No fewer than one hundred and seventy-five, 175, Nigerians who were stranded in Uganda on Thursday arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
Their arrival was made known on the Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) official Twitter account.
It stated that the evacuees arrived on Aug. 13, adding that they will proceed on a 14-day mandatory self-isolation.
“EVACUATION UPDATE: 175 Stranded Nigerians arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, Abuja at about 1305HRS from Uganda, today Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020, via Galistair,” NiDCOM tweeted.
“They all tested Negative to #COVID-19 and will proceed on a 14-day SELF-ISOLATION as mandated by @NCDCgov and PTF on #COVID-19.”
