Osifo Festus of Total Nigeria Plc has emerged new President of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN).
Festus became the 16th President at the 6th Triennial National Delegates Conference on Friday in Abuja.
He defeated Roland Frederick of Shell Petroleum by 200 to 183 votes.
Duru Mathew is the new Deputy President and Victor Ononokpono, the National Treasurer.
A total of 384 delegates from the association’s branches nationwide participated in the conference.
Festus will lead PENGASSAN for the next three years.
He takes over from Ndukaku Ohaeri who served for one year after the death of former president, Francis Olabode Johnson.
Johnson died on May 31, 2019 at the National Hospital, Abuja.
