The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, says the country recorded 155 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Statistics by the NCDC indicated that the low figure was recorded as of Monday night.
This latest figure now brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 55,160, with 1,061 deaths so far recorded.
According to the tweet, Lagos State recorded the highest number with 42 cases, followed by Plateau State which had 25 cases and Rivers 16 cases.
