No fewer than three (3) people have reportedly killed during a protest against police brutality in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
DAILY POST gathered from residents that three people were killed during a clash between some policemen at Ojoo Police station and some protesters on Tuesday.
During the confrontation, three people were killed.
A resident who asked not to be mentioned said that there were several gunshots during the confrontation.
“The incident occurred at Alakara police station at Ojoo. That police station along Sango-Ojoo road”.
Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi while reacting, however, said it was hoodlums who attacked the police station.
“Disgruntled elements/ miscreants attacked Ojoo Police station in the name of protest and details will come later, pls”.
