Popular Cleric, Pastor Gamaliel Eghagha has joined the End SARS protests in Delta State.
Pastor Eghaghe hailed the youths as he threw away his traditional attires to the youths leaving him clad in only a T-Shirt and knickers.
He said, “You have put the name of the Nigerian youths in the history books.”
In a remark, the cleric who was sighted among the peaceful protesters at the Effurun roundabout in Uvwie Local Government Area said the youths have made the government sit up.
Pastor Eghagha echoed, “It’s time for a change in Our Country” as he condemned the shooting of the peaceful protesters in Lekki Toll gate yesterday.
According to him, the government has failed the people in Nigeria and that the only way out of the matter is a restructuring of the country to put an end to bad governance, extrajudicial killings, human right abuses, oppression and intimidation by security operatives.
He, however, prayed for the youths especially for the way and manner they have conducted themselves since the protests started in Delta State.
