Former Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to call Nigeria’s security forces to order as the End SARS protests continue to spread across the country.
Ben Bruce said this while condemning the killing of Nigerian youths at Lekki tollgate in Lagos State on Tuesday.
DAILY POST recalls that men of the Nigerian Army opened fire on protesters at the Lekki tollgate, on Tuesday night.
This came a few hours after a 24 hours curfew was imposed by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwolu.
But, the Army had denied the presence of its soldiers at the scene of the incident.
However, in a tweet via his Twitter account on Wednesday, Ben Bruce wrote: “Scenes from the #Lekkitollgate yesterday and from across Nigeria will forever be impossible to forget. This should never have happened! I urge President @MBuhari to call the security forces to order and urge that they focus on their core which is the protection of life and property.
“Enough is enough. #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeraNOW.”
