Following the aftermath of the violent protest occasioned by the End SARS campaign which was characterized by burning of public and private properties as well as looting,
The Ondo State Police Command has launched a manhunt for hoodlums who burned and looted private and public properties following the End SARS protest.
It was gathered that the dragnet of the police during the operation will also be beamed on robbers as well as other criminals in Akure, the State capital and in other parts of the state where crimes were committed.
In connection with the crimes, over 10 persons were said to have been apprehended in different parts of the state.
Meanwhile, in some areas, a house to house search was conducted to recover looted goods.

The identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained as at press time.
Confirming the development, the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, stated that 10 persons have been arrested for looting shops and armed robbery in the state.
