Mayor of Philadelphia, Jim Kenney, has told President Donald Trump to accept the result of the US 2020 election in good faith.
Kenney, granting a press conference, told Trump to ‘put on his big boy pants’ and concede defeat to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The Mayor said: “The president needs to put on his big boy pants and acknowledge the fact that he lost and needs to congratulate the winner just as Jimmy Carter did , just as Bush did.
“Stop this and let us move as a country, that’s my feeling but I doubt he would listen to me.”
As of Friday night, Biden had secured 264 of 270 electoral votes needed to win, compared to Trump’s 214 votes, according to the Fox News.
