Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has restated readiness to mentor a successor group of younger Nigerians who will take over the leadership baton from his generation.
Atiku made this known in his goodwill message to participants at the inauguration of Northern Youth Advocates for Atiku in Sokoto on Sunday.
Represented by his Special Assistant in the Office of Youth and Support Groups, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, Atiku said, “Convey my appreciation and Congratulations. I admire the interest of the youths in participating in politics and I am committed to grooming them to succeed my generation.”
Also speaking, Comrade Bello Muazu Kware who is the National Chairman of the coalition comprising political and students groups bemoaned the existing leadership gap in the country and charged members of the group on the need to stay focused by participating in the process at the right time.
Kware assured that the group was prepared to key into the humanitarian and impactful causes of the Atiku Care Foundation; pledging the commitment of the organization to advance every opportunity to align with the vision of Atiku Abubakar.
He noted that the former Vice President remains an iconic lover of the youth and investor in education and students in general; stating that only the Atiku leadership can guarantee the future and opportunities through which the Nigerian youth can flourish.
He assured that the Wazirin Adamawa will not betray the trust as he keeps labouring for the interest of the younger people which he believes holds the key, if well guided, to the future and prosperity of the nation.
