Onomene Adene, sister of End SARS frontliner Eromosele Adene who was arrested on Saturday has narrated how the police deceived her before arresting her brother.
Speaking in an interview on Channels Television, Onomene said she received a call on that day from someone who asked for their home address for a delivery since her father’s church has been moved to another location.
According to her, the story suddenly changed after she met the man.
She further disclosed that the man demanded to be taken to her brother who he claimed “had reneged on an agreement of delivering goods he had paid for”.
“Immediately I knew something was wrong because my brother is just a singer and a philanthropist and not a businessman as portrayed.
“But while we were still trying to understand what was going on some police officers arrived in Hilux vans, creating a scene in the area thereafter.
“They arrived at our family home, continuing with the claim of Eromosele failing to deliver goods that had been paid for.
“However, it was when we got to the police station that the security operatives said he was arrested in connection with the End SARS protest,” she said.
