The Chief Registrar of Oyo State High Court of Justice, Alhaja Fatimo Badrudeen, is dead.
The deceased is a former Chief Magistrate in the state.
DAILY POST gathered that the Chief Registrar was rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH) on Monday but later died at the hospital.
She was the first child of late Mukadam AbdulYekeen Adisa Adejare from Oyo Town.
Secretary of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ibadan branch, Mr. Yusuff Raimi, confirmed the death of the former Chief Registrar.
Raimi while speaking described her death as shocking.
He said, “The death of the Chief Registrar is shocking. It happened early this morning. We are about going for her burial according to Muslim rites”.
Similarly, the Public Relations Officer of the Oyo State Judiciary, Mrs Opeyemi Udoh, also confirmed the death of the Chief Registrar.
“It is true that the Chief Registrar died today. She was 53 years old”.
