Friends and family of a young man, identified as Victor Asuquo Akpan, have been thrown into mourning after he allegedly slumped and died while participating in the Nigerian Army screening exercise.
Akpan was reportedly at the Nigerian Army screening exercise in Ibawa, Akwa Ibom State when he slumped and died on Monday, December 7th.
A friend of the deceased who shared the sad story on Facebook revealed that, Akpans body was laid to rest on Thursday, December 10th.
The Facebook user, identified as Edet James wrote,

“We announce to the general public that his lifeless body will leave Oku Iboku tomorrow Thursday 10th December, 2020 to his home town Ikot Uso Akpan Itam, Itu LGA, Akwa Ibom State for the funeral service as will be conducted by The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Mbiokporo Parish by 9AM.
