Kaduna residents are already in a festive mood ahead of the Christmas celebrations, despite the challenges of the year 2020, especially in the state.
Across the streets and roadsides in Kakuri, Nasarawa, Sabo-Tasha, Romi, Kundede, Barnawa, it was all jubilation galore.
Many have made last-minute purchases for food items even as prices of goat, chicken continued to rise.
Others say they are ready for Christmas, as according to them, 2020, has been a trying period but they are determined to dance.
According to Madam Brown, a resident of Kaduna State “Even if I no buy Christmas clothes. I go dance tomorrow like say I see money for floor ni. This my God has been so faithful. I am so happy watching this it increased my joy the more.”
Dr. Christian Chukwu, another resident said, buying new clothes or not, he must jump through the street in Kaduna to celebrate.
“Although, I have had no job for the past six months. I am going to praise my God for seeing me through all this while. God has given me victory over the forces of darkness. I am going to show appreciation to God in heaven. ” He said
