President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his condolence over the death of Musa Saleh Kwankwaso.
The deceased was the District Head of Madobi.
In a message on Friday, Buhari said Nigeria has lost one of its oldest and finest traditional rulers.
He said Kwankwaso’s contributions to peace and unity cannot be forgotten.
“The late Saleh was a man of impressive character whose humility and simplicity rank among his greatest virtues”, the president noted.
Buhari extended sympathies to his son and ex-Kano Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Kano State Government and the Kano Emirate Council.
“May Allah forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannah, amin,” he added.
